About FCG

Miami Nation Enterprises is a political-economic sub-division of the federally recognized Miami Tribe of Oklahoma. Its purpose is to pursue economic development opportunities for the good of the Miami Nation and its citizens. The Federal Contracting Group (FCG) is a group of companies owned by the Tribe and dedicated to providing services and products to the U.S. Federal Government.

The FCG businesses provide construction, operations and maintenance, logistics, and a variety of IT services and technologies, and professional services to both the Department of Defense and civilian agencies. FCG business builds fences; design and install customized shelters, safe, and secure structures; and provides sophisticated communications systems.

Working with a federally recognized Tribal 8(a)

The flexibility and agility of the Small Business Administration’s (SBA) Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) 8(a) program provides the federal government acquisition community, program managers, and operators with acquisition options in addition to traditional vendor/contractor procurement processes. Within the SBA 8(a) program, Small Disadvantaged Businesses qualifying for 8(a) status who are owned by a Tribe are entitled to unique privileges and benefits, Under the FAR, these businesses provide government customers a timely, FAR-compliant alternative to securing solutions through direct, sole-sourced contracts that can be processed.
